Sand Castings

Rainbow’s foundry is capable of casting ferrous and non-ferrous alloys using both sand moulding and centrifugal casting techniques. With high induction melting capacity, the foundry can do single piece casting of cast iron up to 7 tons, steel up to 4 tons and non-ferrous alloys up to 1.5 tons. Over the years the foundry has cast plain carbon steels, low-alloy steels, stainless steels, manganese steels, high alloy special steels, and non-ferrous metals such as high chrome, copper, aluminum and zinc alloys.
